Beekeeping

Looking out from the caravan window from the lounging area and from the decking, you can see an apiary. An apiary is a place where beehives are.

The honeybees are busy gathering sweet nectar and working together for the health of their hive.

The hives are far enough away from the decking to bother you but if you want to, you could take a closer look.

As part of our retreat, you can book a beekeeping session.

The session is tailormade, to allow you to make the most of your time. Depending on the time of the year, it is possible to hand spin honey from the beehive frames. You might want to roll your own beeswax candles, or arrange a Getting Started in Beekeeping workshop.

After your beekeeping session why not book a therapy such as massage and then unwind to the scent of a burning beeswax candle.
